Birding in the NYC.

Pigeon, New York City, Aladdin, Birding

The art to birding can occur at any moment of the day. Even when your going to enjoy a entirely different artform. This happened to me yesterday during a family trip to New York City to see the "Aladdin," musical for Palm Sunday. As the family and I were waiting to enter the theater I looked around and found the local bird of city chilling on the sign. The name of the species is the local pigeon.

After taking a couple shots of this particular pigeon the ushers started welcoming us in and later the show began. For being my second Broadway musical that I saw (the Sponge Bob musical being my first FYI), it was fantastic. The performances, the special effects, the choreography, were all spot on and great. I would highly recommend to go see this show at any price.

Taking part of this hobby has definitely caused some culture shock when coming to New York City. The hustle and bustle the city as I traveled down time square was something. From peddlers selling their wears to all the adverts that covered the screens of that today's square can be so distracting and yet fascinating. This was all to get our restaurant on a following road.

The restaurant that we ate at was very nice. It was called Becco an Italian establishment specializing on the offer of unlimited homemade pasta of the day. The offer was appealing to the rest of the family, but for me I had a chicken Parma was my choice due to limited interest in the pasta of that day. All was delicious and at reasonable price for inflation standards. All in all, it was a very nice day to enjoy a family trip to see a musical.
